Mateusz Smoczynski will perform together with Branford Marsalis! Together they will play “2PiX,” a double concerto for saxophone, violin and orchestra by Smoczynski inspired by David Lynch’s TV series Twin Peaks.
The soloists will be accompanied by the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, conducted by Michal Klauza. Marsalis will also perform Fantasia for saxophone, 3 French horns and string orchestra by Hector Villa-Lobos. The concert will take place on July 7, 2024, at 9:00 PM in Radziejowice as part of the 15th Jerzy Waldorff Summer Festival. Free admission.
